What’s Included in the G80 Build Kit

G80 Unfinished Receiver
The heart of your build. A precision-machined steel fire control unit that integrates the locking block, trigger housing, and slide rails into one monolithic unit. Heat-treated 4140 steel with black nitride finish for strength that polymer can’t match. Includes: receiver, 2x 3mm grip pins, 1x 4mm trigger pin, 1x trigger housing pin, 1x slide lock spring. These pins replace corresponding parts from standard Glock lower parts kits.

G80 Jig
The custom-engineered jig system that guides you through completing your receiver with precision. CNC-machined aluminum construction holds tolerances across multiple builds. Works with Dremel rotary tools (Manual) or Ghost Gunner GG3-S (Machine). Includes: jig hardware set, 2x 3.1mm drill bits, 1x 4.1mm drill bit, 1x large grinding stone. Everything you need to go from unfinished to functional.

G80 Grip Module
The 120R-compatible polymer grip module that houses your finished receiver. Multi Jet Fusion PA11 nylon construction for impact resistance and durability. Ergonomic grip angle matches Glock G19 Gen3 geometry for holster compatibility. Available in BLACK, FDE, ODG, or GRAY. Swap colors anytime, or 3D print custom grips from the open-source 120R ecosystem.

What Makes the G80 Build Kit Different

Steel Over Polymer
While Polymer80 and other competitors built their platforms on polymer frames, the G80 uses a heat-treated 4140 steel fire control unit. The result: tighter slide-to-frame fit, zero flex under recoil, and virtually unlimited service life. The monolithic design eliminates rail alignment issues common with multi-piece polymer frames.

VanDerStok Compliant by Design
The G80 was engineered specifically to meet the Supreme Court’s VanDerStok standard (March 2025). The kit ships without all necessary components, requires uncommon tools, and takes over an hour to complete. All three criteria for federal legality, built into the product from day one.

The Last Major 80% Platform
